Vincent Colardi is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist whose career is built on a commitment to precision, compassion, and lifelong learning. He believes that the best patient care comes from combining technical expertise with clear communication and a genuine understanding of each person’s experience. His work allows him to bring together advanced medical technology and meaningful patient interaction, helping physicians deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Raised in Wantagh on Long Island, Vincent graduated from General Douglas MacArthur High School in Levittown in 2014. He began his college education at SUNY Farmingdale before transferring to SUNY Old Westbury, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, graduating Cum Laude in 2019. His studies strengthened his analytical thinking, research abilities, and communication skills while fostering an appreciation for continuous learning.
Although he enjoyed studying history, Vincent realized he wanted a career that would allow him to apply science while working directly with people. That decision led him to Molloy University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2024. He is certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
His clinical education included hands-on training at several respected healthcare institutions, including NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, NY Cancer and Blood Specialists, and RLS Radiopharmacy. These experiences exposed him to a wide range of patients, technologies, and clinical environments while reinforcing the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care.
Before entering the healthcare field, Vincent gained valuable experience in roles that strengthened his professionalism and work ethic. As a certified referee and linesman with the Long Island Soccer Referee Association, he learned the importance of sound judgment, communication, and remaining composed under pressure. He later worked at Staples in Levittown as both a Technology Associate and Lead Computer Technician, where he developed strong problem-solving and customer service skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Today, Vincent serves as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at St. Francis Hospital South Bay Cardiovascular in West Islip, New York. His responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing patients for exams, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care. He enjoys working in a field where science, technology, and compassion come together to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, Vincent remains passionate about music, an interest that began during his childhood. He enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, and exploring different musical styles. Along with a lifelong love of soccer, music continues to provide a creative outlet and a source of balance outside his professional life.
